Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico. With a profound sense of unity and expectation, more than 1,200 people—including pastors, leaders, churches, and ministry workers—gathered for the Night of Fire and Intercession, a historic time of prayer and consecration in preparation for the great “Invasion of Hope Chetumal” Evangelistic Crusade, which will take place from August 13 to 15.
The atmosphere was marked by a shared desire: to seek the face of God and prepare the way for a powerful manifestation of His presence. Churches from different denominations united as one body to intercede for the city, believing that God will bring a season of salvation, healing, freedom, and restoration to thousands of people.
Throughout the gathering, the church responded enthusiastically to the call to serve. Hundreds of volunteers reaffirmed their commitment to be part of this great mission, preparing to welcome and minister to every person who arrives in need of hope. It was evident that God is not only preparing an event—He is raising up a united, equipped, and committed church devoted to the Great Commission.
We believe the ground has been prepared and hearts are ready. After months of prayer, coordination, and collaboration among local churches, we can see how God has brought people together and awakened a shared vision to reach Chetumal with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
From August 13 to 15, Evangelist Elías Annacondia, together with the Invasion of Hope team and guest ministries, will lead a series of evening gatherings where we believe thousands of people will encounter the transforming power of Jesus. These will be nights of salvation, healing, freedom, and restoration, where the Gospel will be proclaimed with clarity, love, and power.
This prayer gathering was much more than a meeting. It was a declaration of faith from a Church that has chosen to walk in unity, believe for the impossible, and prepare the way for God to be glorified throughout the region.
Chetumal is ready. The Church is united. And we believe that God’s best for this city is yet to come.
